In the Shadow
It seems to me that the majority of people believe that humbleness is not an asset. Many want the spotlight, to be the focus, to be center ring. They want attention, fame, and glory. I suppose it could be argued that this is a result of a culture obsessed with self, but I tend to believe it has much more to do with the human condition.
